Noah was in  Colonel Timothy Bedels Regiment atHavirell, NH (there is a copy of theWar Rolls in the Pension Bureau in D.C.). He was in the NHRevolutionary War Rollsfrom September to December of 1776 and from April1778-1779. Then he's in the 1790 Vermont census, pg28 forBarnet Township, Orange Co. Then there's this thing about Noah buying his farm inVermont from Daniel Cross for$500 on March 1, 1800 and then selling it to Bethuel Crossin January 1801 for $168. Bethuel later sold it for $500. -source from Pat White Probably met Mehitable while he was stationed in NewHampshire. Noah is in the August 1800 Vermont census and the April1801 Augusta, Ontariocensus. It is thought that the family crossed the riverinto Canada by ox sledin January. Noah died in 1802 in Augusta. He may be buriedthere or inOgdensburg or under the dam at Upper Beverly Lake or at theMerriman homesteadnear Elgin.
