  	Robert Strong STRONG, ROBERT B. "SHORTIE" Grand Junction, MI Passed away Friday, May 18, 2012 at Kairos Dwelling. Age 85 years. Robert was born on November 28, 1926, the son of the late George A. and Anna (Kemple) Strong. He worked for Parker-Hannifin, retiring after 35 years of service. He was a member of Bloomingdale Christian Church. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, dancing, traveling, playing cards, fishing, hunting and gardening. Robert was married to Patricia (Skelton) Strong on March 1, 1952; she survives him. Also surviving are two sons and two daughters, Russell (Gwen) Strong of Vicksburg, Sharon Bradley of Oshtemo, Margaret (Oria) Bagley of Portage and Douglas (Penny) Strong of Portage; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and two special friends, Duane and Melissa Dalrymple. Robert was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter; two brothers and six sisters. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., www.langelands.com. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at the funeral home. Pastor Timothy Farley and Pastor Bill Napp will officiate with interment in Mt.
