Description: I just remembered a few facts about my Grandfather. He was a Spanish American soldier. My sister has a wonderful picture of him in his uniform standing under a palm tree in Havana, Cuba.He was a graduate of Oberlin University School of Business and I was told he worked for the Pony Express. He also rode his bicycle from Sandusky to Chicago to see the World Exposition I'm not sure of the date. My Father said we are related to President Tyler through Susan Tyler who was either Horace or Clark Halladay's wife. I researched about the Tyler story and found nothing to back it up.
Thanks Again for this wonderful site!

The listings for Fred Tyler Halladay [7092] and Lena K. Zorn [7093] need some corrections/additions. First Fred was actually Frederick. The spelling of Lena should be "Lina" from the invitation. Her middle name was Katharine. The wedding was "Thursday, June fourth, nineteen hundred three at high noon". If I get my husband to scan the invitation would you like a copy of it for you database? Lina was born in 1877 and died in 1952. ...

Hello Russ,
Thanks for the relationship charts you sent. I have enjoyed reviewing them.
In reviewing the information I sent you I see that I made a typo error in the date of my father's death. Frederick Homer Halladay [10827] died in 1992. It was not 1993 as I stated previously. The other information is correct. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
