Suddenly at home on Monday, September 9th, 2013. Beloved husband of Maria "Inday" Halladay. Cherished father of Mark (Erin), Judy (Jason), Christian (Rhea), and Julian (J.J.). Loving grandfather of Jacob, Kaydin, Micah, Jasmine, and expected Baby Halladay. Predeceased by his parents Roy and Kathleen Halladay, as well as by his siblings Edna, and Buster. Don will be fondly remembered by his extended family and many friends. He will be missed by his fellow Knights of Columbus, as well as by the volunteers at the Military Family Resource Centre - Victoria, B.C.
Visitation at the GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME - Township Chapel, 435 Davis Drive (Taylor-Kidd Blvd. at Centennial Dr.) on Thursday, September 12th from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 1111 Taylor-Kidd Blvd., on Friday, September 13th at 11 a.m. followed by cremation. Interment of Ashes at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens, Glenburnie at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations by cheque to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
