    • Obituary of Herman Skelton:
      Constantine - Herman Skelton, 53, a resident of Constantine almost his entire life, died at his home at 7:30 Wednesday evening. He had been ill since January. Mr. Skelton was born in Ashton. Aug. 13, 1888, the son of John and Dora Skelton. He was married in Three Rivers in March, 1923 to Miss Sadie Thorn. He is survived by his widow, and eight children, all living at home. They are: Frances, Billie, Herman, Jr.,  and Robert; and three sons by a former marriage, Russell, Elwood, and Caryl; and his mother, Mrs. Dora Blood, Constantine, and two sisters, Mrs. Varney Simons, Three Rivers and Mrs. Don Parker, Coldwater. Funeral services will be held at 4 Saturday afternoon in the Geisler funeral chapel here, with burial in the Constantine cemetery.
