She married LEWIS HALLADAY June 15, 1880 in Ashton, Lincoln Twp., Osceola Co., Michigan, son of ALVIN HALLADAY and MARY STRUTHERS. He was born 1853 in Delta Leeds Co., Ontario, Canada (Source: Gravestone in Ashton cemetery.), and died 1899 in Ashton, Lincoln Twp., Osceola Co., Michigan.

Notes for PHYLENA PRATT:
Per Russell Strong genealogy, Phylena lived on an island in St. Lawrence River and was unable to attend school only six months. Came to Ashton with father at age six and again at age 12. She was listed in 1910 census with daughter Pearl and son-in-law Fritz.

Phylena is buried in a plot in Ashton Cemetery originally bought by Charles F. Johnson in 1894. Phylena's husband, Lewis Halladay is in plot 1, Phylena plot 2, Myrtle M. Barnes plot 6 , Beatrice Barnes plot 7 and Allwyn plot 8.

ASHTON NATIVE DIES SATURDAY
Mrs. David Anderson, 70, of 836 Farrar Street, Cadillac, a native of Ashton, died in Mercy Hospital in Cadillac Saturday morning where she had been a patient with a heart ailment.
Mabel Halladay was born July 9, 1881, in Ashton and was married to David Earl Fuller in 1900. On September 9, 1938, she was married to David P. Anderson. She was a member of the Rebekah lodge.
Surviving are the husband; three sons, Gordon E. Fuller, Floyd L. Fuller and Elger W. Fuller of Cadillac; two step-sons, Raymond P. Anderson of Cadillac and Carl L. Anderson of Muskegon; 10 grandchildren, three great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Lila Barnes and Mrs. Pearl Bronson of Grand Rapids and Mrs. Winifred Green of Cadillac; a brother, Clinton Halladay of Ashton. Preceding her in death were two sons and two daughters in infancy and a sister, Mrs. Nora Hoogerhyde of Reed City.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Flynn funeral home with the Rev. A. G. Fath officiating. Interment took place in the Ashton cemetery.
