  Notes	[ANDERSON.GED] Notes by Marjorie Ann Souder.Lysander Woodward was several times Supervisor of AvonTownship, OaklandCounty, Michigan, Justice of the Peace, StateRepresentative fromOakland County, and twice County Treasurer.  He wasamong the first toencourage and advocate the building of the Detroit and BayCity Railwayand was the first president of the company when it wasformed in 1871. Two streets in Rochester, Michigan, are named for him.
