  Notes	THE KINGSTON WHIG-STANDARD NOTICES Tuesday, October 2, 2001 Death BABCOCK, Douglas Peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Sunday, September 30, 2001. Doug Babcock of Seeley's bay in his 60th year. Beloved husband of Elaine Roantree. Dear father of Pennie and her husband Micah Halladay of Kingston. Predeceased by sons Andrew and Kenneth Babcock. Dear brother of Elva Leary of Napanee, Laverne (Barbara) Babcock of Kingston, Naydene (Hugh) Shanks of Kingston. Predeceased by sisters, Audrey Wheeler, Eileen Mohan, Betty Hogan, Sheila Babcock, and Jean Babcock. Fondly remembered by grandchildren, Andrew and Alex. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Scotland Funeral Home, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment Olivet Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to the Seeley's Bay United Church or The Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
