                         MEMORIES OF YOU, DADDY DEAR
There was no time for our last farewell
Before the great tragedy struck and we returned to emptiness,
For you were gone from us; but we will not dread the lonely days
That fate has marked for us, for you are not forever gone, daddy dear.
You will always live in memory with us,
We shall remember you as long as there are skies above,
And give our daily thanks to God that we once shared your love.
For memories are nostalgic dreams, so much a part of you,
A memory of the happy times our family once knew.
And as we sit and reminesce of the happier days, my dear,
We breathe a longly wistful sigh and brush away our tears,
Our siletn thoughts; our every plan are now the same as then,
That God will let us sometime be together once again.
Our tears are for the yesterdays that held our grief and sorrow.
For we must live with faith renewed in hope of our tomorrow.
Where we will spend eternal years just beyond this veil of tears.
We together will keep vigil as we go about
And your presence will be near us.
As we pray before retiring to Heaven, we will look for your smile
And ask the Saviour to guide us
Through the years we will be with you although in Heaven you abide
You have gained eternal treasures with the Saviour by your sides.
Sadly missed by his wife and family.

With our hearts full of sorrow and heavy with grief from the shock of sudden passing of our loved one, we wish to express with deep gratitude our deep appreciation for all the kind words, floral tributes, kind deeds extended by all.  We especially wish to thank the ministers, singers and our good neighbors for the way they assisted us at this time.  Words cannot express our hearts deep gratitude but may the Father in Heaven, who doeth all thing well, reward you in Heaven.--Mrs Emmett Roby and the children.
