Hello,
For all you newer members, my grandmother was Clarissa Fowler Biry. She was
the daughter of Frank Fowler and Anna Barbara/Barbara Ann Strong. We
aren't sure which name is correct for her mother since we've found records
with both names.
On all of her children's birth certificate's she listed her name as Ann, or
Annie. So, we call her Annie.
Anyway, around a year ago we had a discussion about Bill Fowler. No one
remembered his wife and children's names. Well, after a lot of searching
I've finally come across his divorce papers. They were divorced on March 1,
1930. His wifes name was Myrtle.
(I haven't found their marriage license yet to get her maiden name.)
Their children were: Catherine J. (Jean is what she was called), her sister
was Phyllis A. Fowler.
My sister Ann, found a picture of Phyllis, in with some of her older
pictures. She also found one of Bill Fowler when he was about three or
four. It says the year on the picture, but I forgot. It's so cute. Bill
has long curly hair. At first we thought it was a girl.
If anyone is interested in seeing these pictures, I'll ask my sister if I
can borrow them to send to the list. Just let me know.
